Whilst a lot of businesses shut their doors and furloughed all their staff during lock down, The Bride Beautiful Team here at Elsham Hall adapted to our working practices. We stayed OPEN and fully focused on looking after our couples – this is what we do best!

How did the Bride Beautiful team adapt?

Staff were and still are fully set up working from home; our admin team worked like Trojans setting up our shiny new CRM system, enabling our team access to all our couple’s information.   We set up our own little homeworkers Facebook group and kept in touch lifting spirits with crazy emoji’s, with a few virtual meeting to show we were still real lol.

How did we look after our existing couples?

We created a Facebook group exclusively for our couples and being available in the group, on the phone or via email gave our couples the confidence they were booked with a team of professional that really did care.

Always being available was paramount to all our wonderful couples.

We have remained in constant contact with couples. Continuing with our planning consultations via virtual meetings, we have offered no additional charge for postponements and offered free of charge backup dates.  We have kept them up to date through our private Facebook group and email, guiding them the best we know how, with the limited information we have had, through the difficult times we have all faced.

 

Our Exclusive caterer made some beautifully personalised shortbread hearts for all our couples which we posted out just a few weeks into lock down.

And our couples have all been invited to have photo shoot with their photographer on their would have been wedding dates,  picnics and bubbly, which we feel is just a little positive keepsake for the heart-breaking decisions they have had to make

How do we continue to secure new wedding bookings during lock down for the future?

We worked hard on a new easy to navigate website

We luckily invested in a virtual tour in January, so this has been incredibly useful for newly engaged couples enquiring to our venue.

We also wanted couples to feel confident in booking a wedding with us so we introduced our ‘Book with Confidence’ offer. Couples could book a date without viewing for just 25% of the deposit.  Once it was safe to do so, a visit was organised with the confidence that if the venue did not suit, we would refund any monies paid.

We now have adapted open days, which are by appointment only to adhere to social distancing which gives our couples the confidence we are doing all we can to ensure the safety of them and our team
